Tower Of David
client: Tower Of David Museum, city of Jerusalem
I was approached by the Tower of David Museum in 2017 with a request to plan and design a new sound system for their audiovisual installation that has been on display every night for the past 9 years. The project involved a complex 7.1 sound system designed for the new show. While was in progress, the museum decided to continue screening the old show as well, which involved a 5.1 sound system. I therefore had to plan a full redundancy system that will accommodate both shows, which were often displayed on the same night.
The system contained 24 NEXO speakers controlled by two 16-in and 16 Analogue-out Xilica Neutrino processors, plus 16 Dante inputs. This enabled maximum flexibility and redundancy for controlling both shows.
